This was such a busy week! We practiced fire drills every day this week and talked about dialing 911 for emergencies. Fireman Troy Smith also stopped by for a visit and showed all the children his gear that he wears when on a call. Thank you very much Mr. Smith!
Ms. Maria & Ms. Gale dressed up in the fire gear and so did some of the children. They were able to get a feel for how heavy the fire gear is.
We also sprayed shaving cream (our pretend fire extinguishers) and the children practiced writing letters in it.
