Mardi Gras!

We had so much fun with Mardi Gras! We played with beads and made our own hats and crafts.

We used different colored beads, coins and feathers for our Mardi Gras Parade!

Healthy Teeth Week

We have been practicing brushing our teeth the proper way.  No one wants cavities!

We also talked about flossing and how eating different things can affect tooth health.










During our science time, we graphed what different types of drinks (Lemonade, Soda & Koolaid) can affect our teeth.

We used eggs in the different drinks and watched over the day as the liquid eroded the outer shell.

Valentine's Week

 Happy Valentine's Day!!


We used our fine motor skills by cutting, gluing and decorating our Valentine's boxes!

We also talked about shapes, especially hearts!











Our party was yummy and we had a blast sharing Valentine's treats!

During our Olympic themed week, we held our own Olympic games!

We learned all about the meaning of sportsmanship and working together as a team!

Winter Week!

We all loved having fun and playing in the snow!

Then we made pretend snow angels!  Practicing for the real snow!

Here's our very own "Olaf"!  We froze water in balloons to make him.

Dress up time!

Who knew dressing up could be so much fun! Interactive play helps not only social skills, but with developing abstract thinking as well.

Don't be afraid to throw on a cowboy hat and feather boa at the same time... maybe while making dinner. See how many giggles you can get from your little ones. :)

Fireman Troy Visit!

Mr. Troy Smith visited our school and let us try on some gear.  We learned about fire safety this week and the importance of 911.  Please continue to talk to your child about this as well as Stop, Drop & Roll!!
